BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

You must find water and boil it before you drink it.
Don’t run if you see a bear. Stay calm and move away slowly.
Don’t fall asleep deeply in your shelter. Stay alert.
Air is the most important thing. You can only survive a few days without water.

I think I could survive about one week in the wilderness because I know how to find water, make a small shelter, and stay calm, but I don’t have much experience hunting or starting fires.

  7. Ey friend, I heard that you were going hiking in the motains for two days, I can help you with some advices to survive in the wild.
First, you should bring lot of food and water to be hydrated and full of energy, you know the average person can survive only three days without water and three minutes without air.
You ought to know how to start a fire, so if the weather it’s cold you can stay warm and comfortable.
If I were you, I will bring with me a survival kit, for example a flashlight; and a medician kit, with many cures and blindfolds.
You’d better rest if you are tired, it’s not good to stay tired for to long
If for any reason a bear find you in his way, do not run, or it will think you are food.
    Good luck!!!

  8. SURVIVAL QUIZ
1.-What is the safest source of food in a suvival situation?
From my point of view, plants are much easir to find and the don’t have to be prepared to eat like animals.
2.-What can help you to survive?
For me, a positive attitude can help you most of the times.
3.-Where is it best to build a shelter?
In my opinion, soemwhere wich will protect you from falling trees and rocks.
4.-You will need heat. Which of these can you start a fire with?
I think a piece of ock and a piece of metal will start a fire easier.
5.-Finally, put these task in the correct order for surviving in a summer climate.
Firt, locate water, second, locate food, thirdth, build a fire, fourth, build a shelter and last, look after injuries.

  10. Exercise 5 Page 51

I think people will remenber images of the COVID-19 in the future. For example, they will remember doctors wearing macks and protective clothes. They will also remenber empty streets and people staying at home for a long time. These images show how dificult life was during that time and how important it was to protect each other.

  12. Ugh, storms Leonardo and Marta have been a total bummer for Andalusia. 🙄 Seriously, what a disaster!

Seeing how everything was flooded and thousands of people had to leave their homes is super strong. And on top of that, Marta arrives right after Leonardo! It's as if the bad weather doesn't want to stop.

The good thing is that people have been great, helping each other, as always. But it is a warning that we have to be more ready for these storms. Let's see if we are better prepared next time! 🤞
