BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

These are the bare facts

Facts are facts, and you cannot disguise them. We see it everyday in our lives. Countries attack other countries and they say it is on behalf of the freedom of the other country's citizens. Nonsense!

Some articles for you to read about the issue:

It is said that there are different types of English teachers, some better than the others, but the bare facts are that there is only one English language and that at the end of the road you will have the same control for every student in our secondary schools. And that will the moment when we will learn what we have really learned.

My congratulations to our student Martín Toledo (4º ESO A) for having just passed his B1 in English (Cambridge) obtaining excellent results in certain skills (he even got a B2 level in the Reading skill). Facts are facts!!!

I think I couldn't survive because I would be all infected, I couldn't eat, drink water, or breathe well and that's essential to live

I think the most serious natural disaster is an earthquake because it can destroy buildings very quickly and many people can die.

I think the most serious man-made disaster is a nuclear explosion because it can destroy a whole city and cause radiation that harms people for many years.

Yes, I would like to visit Pripyat as a tourist because it is a very interesting place and it has an important history. However, I would be careful because of the radiation.

Disasters can destroy homes and buildings, and many people can lose their jobs. Sometimes people have to leave their homes and move to another place.
