ResponderEliminarÖtzi, also known as the Iceman, has nineteen living relatives of 5300 years ago. This mummmy was found in the Alps in 1991. It's estimated to be about 45 years old, 1,59cm tall, about 50kg and some health problems, probably from freezing. He had many physical defects; His body was full of tattoos made with small cuts. In spite of this, including the shoulder blunt wound, he died of a blow to the head.
ResponderEliminarÖtzi was found by climbers on the border between Italy and Austria. At first it was thought that it was a recent corpse but after several studies they obtained that the body had thousands of years. It is also known that Ötzi did not have a quiet life, due to the state of his body by all the wounds.
In addition, scientists found eggs from parasites that cause the disease Lyme in his stomach. They also found some remaining of wild goats and thirty different types of pollen, which means that Ötzi died in spring or at the beginnig of summer.
What would I have for my last meal? I think my last meal would be my favourite food. I wouldn't care how unhealthy that was.
Otzi, also called the Iceman, is a natural mummy of a man who lived between 3359 and 3105 BC, The mummy was found by two climbers in September 1991 in the Alps, near Similaun mountain, between Austria and Italy. He is the oldest human mummy, ever discovered, in Europe. His body and the tools are shown in the South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology in Italy.
ResponderEliminarÖtzi was around 1.65 metres tall, about 61 kilograms and was 45 years of age. Before more and more investigations made to his body, scientists have discovered that Ötzi still had blood cells. These are the oldest ones ever identified. As You said It is believed that Ötzi had a few slices of a dried meat, probably bacon which came from a wild goat.
Finally, Answering the main title question, I don´t really know what I would eat, because, obviously, I´ve never been in that situation ever before, and I hope still not to be in it, I don´t have a favorite food, so, firstly I think I would do more important things than eating, like stay with my family

Ötzi the Iceman, or Oetzi, is a well-preserved natural mummy of a man who lived about 5,300 years ago. The mummy was found in September 1991 by two German hikers in the Schnalstal glacier, Ötztal Alps, near Hauslabjoch on the border between Austria and Italy. He's is Europe's oldest natural human mummy, and has offered a new picture of Chalcolithic Europeans.
ResponderEliminarSome surprising facts about Otzi are that Otzi had several isssues, including worn joints, hardened arteries, gallstones, and a nasty growth on his little toe. Furthermore, the Iceman likely had Lyme disease, and he had alarming levels of arsenic in his system. Despite all this, and a fresh arrow wound to his shoulder, it was a sudden blow to the head what killed him. Antjher surprising facts about this man are that he also had anatomical abnormalities, and he consumed pollen and goats.
Finally, I'm going to answer the title queston. To be honest, I had never thought in that, but I hink that I'll probably eat one of my favourite meals, such us, chicken with chips, spaghettis, etc.
Ötzi, Man of Similaun and Man of Hauslabjoch are the modern names of the mummy of a man who died around 3255 BC. C. approximately 46 years of age. The mummy was discovered in September 1991 in the Ötztal Alps, near Hauslabjoch, on the border of Austria and Italy, at an altitude of 3,200 meters above sea level. Its nickname comes from Ötztal, a stretch of the Italian Alps where it was discovered. It is the oldest natural human mummy in Europe and has offered an unprecedented insight into Europeans in the Chalcolithic (Copper Age). His body and belongings are on display in the South Tyrol Museum of Archeology in the city of Bolzano, in South Tyrol (Italy).
ResponderEliminarThe cause of the mummification of the corpse was the extreme and perpetual cold of the region where the individual died.
Ötzi was found by two mountain climbers from Nuremberg (Germany), Helmut and Erika Simon, on September 19, 1991. At first it was thought that it was a modern corpse, like several others that were recently found in the region. It was recovered by the Austrian authorities and taken to Innsbruck, where its true dating could be made. The diplomatic dispute between Austria and Italy over the ownership of the mummy was a cause of the indefiniteness of the border, covered with ice at the time of the signing of the treaty of St. Germain-en-Laye in 1919. New measurements in 1991 they decreed that the find had occurred about 93 meters inside the Italian territory, although the University of Innsbruck, in Austria, kept the mummy until the end of scientific research. Seven years later it was decided that the mummy would remain in Italy.
