BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

Mind + heart + .... determination = SUCCESS

Carlos Álcaraz's grandfather always told him that what you need to succeed in life is to have a strong mind, to do things with your heart and... BALLS! (Sorry for reproducing his exact words), that is to say, DETERMINATION. We can note that it is almost the same mixture Nadal has used in his career. Well, along your career, you'll come across many hurdles, difficult situations, injuries.... and even failures. Then you'll need something extra, that is: RESILIENCE!!!

Well, it seems that Spanish tennis level will survive when Nadal takes his decision to retire.

  1. Carlitos Alcaraz has made history as a tennis player this week. He won the Madrid Open, not only has he won it, but also he won against Rafa Nadal in quarter finals, and against Djokovic in semifinals. Showing the skill he has in those matches.

Nowadays, he is in the 6th position on the ATP Ranking. I think he will be one of the best players in the world playing tennis soon, he should train and train and train to be invincible.

He he surprised me when he beat rafa, but when he beat Djokovic, I was saying:"This guy is amazing!". I hope we would become one of the best tennis players in the world.

  3. n our life we have bad or better moment, but we must live them with much joy and be prepared for anything that comes our way. We have to get used to living with everything that comes our way.

Carlos Alcaraz is a young Spanish tennis player who is playing very good this season and his results prove it because he defeated a Rafa Nadal, Djokovic and other great tennis player with only nineteen years old in the same tournament in one week.

He is showing that is a great tennis player and I believe he will be one of the best tennis player, he won Mutua Madrid Open, which the title was delivered by the King of Spain and he has been winning several tournaments this season, he showed a behaviour as a great tennis player and has the maturity of an experienced tennis player. If he keeps winning, he will reach the world number one soon.

As I see things, we must effort for what we want to achieve and meet all our goals and never give up.
We must following until you get them and you can enjoy in your life, but in order to fulfill them we must sacrifice a lot before being able to fulfill them, in those moments it is where we have to demonstrate what one is capable of giving.

  4. What Carlos Alcaraz did against Nadal, Djokovic and Zverev last weekend was incredible. He is a good example of effort and determination.

He was born on 5th May 2003 and he is from Murcia. As a junior, he was ranked as number 22 in the world. When he was 16 years old, he made his debut in February 2020 at the Rio Open. In 2021, Alcaraz participated in different tournaments: the Australian Open, Madrid Open, French Open, Wimbledon, US Open… In addition, he was the youngest player with 18 years old when he entered the top 100.

Recently in 2022, he became the youngest champion in the history of Madrid Open. He has defeated Djokovic, Nadal and Zverev in his three last matches and with only 19 years old! In my opinion, talent is very important but we must have also perseverance and discipline.

The conclusion of the victory of Carlos Alcaraz is that we have to believe in ourselves and continue working hard always in order to accomplish our dreams.

  5. In the sport field, Spain is winning a lot of importance in some sports, such as tennis, handball, or basketball. As we can remember,in the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2021, Spain was one of the favourite teams in handball, although they only got the bronze medal. And, we know that in basketball Spain is always one of the best teams, as good as United States. It can be believed that it is thanks to Pau Gasol, the best Spanish basketball player in history, but, in the Olympic Games, we could see that it was a great team although he didn't play.

Above all, Spain has improved significantly in tennis in the latest years. Some years ago, there weren't such great Spanish tennis players. The most important was Nadal, although he still has a lot of importance we also have some other great players, and that are younger, we have as an example, Carlos Alcaraz, who is only nineteen years old. So, at least, Spanish tennis level will survive when Nadal retires.

Carlos Alcazar is only nineteen years old and has already won some important matches, like his match against Djokovic last Saturday, which he could finally win in spite of all the pressure. For this reason, it is believed that in the future he will be as good as the best tennis players, like Nadal or Djokovic, or even more. It is true that it is really difficult achieve all he do only with nineteen years. However, he managed to achieve it thanks to his determination and resilience.

Finally, in my opinion, you have to take a lot effort and sacrifice to reach until the top, and compete against the best players. And it gives you a lot of excitement and eagerness, because you see how you can reach where you want, to be one of the best players in the history.
