BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

Thanks, Phenomenadal!

Since last 19th November, 2024 I have been thinking about how to make a tribute to such an unforgettable tennis player and I can't think of other words, but what everybody is saying: "Thanks, Rafa" (or as some people cry out with certain amazing hits: "Phenomenadal").

Thanks for not only your wins, but also for the way you have won and lost, for your resilience, for your way to face life, your way to face tough moments, injuries... Your unmatched attitude is what makes you unique. It would have been so easy for you to quit that final in the Australian Open against Wawrinka when you were injured, or when the French public cheered Soderling, but you never chickened out!

And your reward is not only the trophies, grand slams or tournaments you have won, but the admiration French people showed to you when you were invited to be part of their Olympic Games in Paris, the admiration everybody in the world shows for you, as you can see in the videos I have found on the web.

We will always call out your name and your famous 'VAMOS!' every time we come across a difficult situation. We do wish you all the best in your future life among all your kin, and all the supporters you have around the world.

I will always set you as an example for my students regarding the attitude they must have to face life and hurdles in their studies, and how relentless you have to be so as to achieve your goals.

Pay attention to the extreme adjectives used.

  4. EXTREME ADJECTIVES:
In my opinion, Rafa Nadal has been an unforgettable tennis player who has marked a lot in the history of tennis. He has played fascinating and important matches. Everyone thinks he's a fantastic person on and off the tennis court. They've never had a terrible game, they've always been brilliant.

For him it is essential to train very well before each game so that it is fantastic. In a tiny stretch of minutes he can score a great score thanks to the great training he has and all the essential hours he spends practising.
