No way!! Long time ago I must admit I used to be a bit strict with my students, but now that I even have my old students' children, I'm no longer as bad as I used to be!!
I know times are changing, but it should be for the better. Although the latest students coming to our school haven't been the best, at least the promotion of students that has just started their secondary education is quite promising.

I was reading a blog when I suddenly saw this comment, ''When I think of teenagers, I think of loud music, social media, messy bedrooms, refusing to help out at home and no books anywhere!'' so I have to talk about this, because this isn't correct! First, I don't know any teenager that heard to loud music, me and my friends are teenagers, and we don't listen to loud music, we listen to something more smooth if you know what I am talking about. Social media is something we use a lot, but not every time, we spend our time studying too. I don't use to have my bedroom messy, I always have it tidy and clean. I always help with the homework, cleaning our helping my mom. I have a huge bookcase in my bedroom, it is entire of books. I don't know why people think this of us, but they are not correct.

Today, I am going to talk about the beliefs that teenagers have to the older generations. First, the attitude, their attitude is always to be the boring or always beeing tired and going to sleep, this might be the most correct.
ResponderEliminarThe experiences they had was like they only went at the park, to play lots of traditionals games in the street in front of their houses. Their mental ability is only focus on the work and be always serious, they are sometimes funny but just for a little bit of time. The values is the best thing that old generations have, they are too respectful with other persons and they never say bad words in public, they are soo respectful.

ResponderEliminarWhen I was younger, I used to go to bed early on school night to go to school because my mother used to tell me that is bad to stay awake to much time because if you are tired in class, you wouldn't learn anything. My granda woul tell me histories about things that happend when he was younger, about his generation, his values and how he started to run a business. Did you use to go to bed early when you were younger? Will your granda tell lots of longs histories?

Student A: In picture 1, there's a woman cleaning with a classic vacuum cleaner, she looks tired maybe of the hard work, or mad beacuse she have to do the cleaning; whereas in picture 2 they are using a robot vacuum cleaner, then they don´t have to do the cleaning themselves, soo they are feeling confortable.
ResponderEliminarStudent B: In my opinion, I don´t like doing the housework, I don´t enjoy it and I also end tired, when I can buy a robot vacuum cleaner to clean the floor for me, soo I can do other things , like my homework or playing videogames.

Yes, I agree that schools should teach students what to do when they fail. Many times, the educational system focuses only on success and getting good grades, but does not teach how to handle mistakes or difficult times. Learning to face failure is essential, because in real life not everything goes well the first time. Knowing how to react, reflect on what happened and try again helps develop resilience, confidence and maturity. If schools taught this, students would be better prepared emotionally and mentally for the challenges of the future.

Many teenagers believe that the older generations have a more serious and traditional attitude, and that they do not understand well the way young people think. They also think that older people no longer have the same physical or mental capacity, which is not always true, because many older adults remain active and with a very clear mind. As for experiences, teenagers sometimes forget that older people have lived a lot and can offer good advice based on what they have learned. Finally, the values of the older generations are usually different, but that does not mean that they are incorrect; they simply reflect another era. In general, some of these beliefs are stereotypes and are not always accurate.

Garrincha had a crazy and kind of strange soccer career. He played for Botafogo and he helped Brazil win big games. He was super good at dribbling, like defenders didn’t know what to do with him. Even when he was hurt or not in best shape, he still played and made fans happy. His career had ups and downs, but many people say he was one of the best wings ever, even if his life was not always easy.

When I was younger , I used to stay all the afternoon watching the TV . But now I can´t do it because I have too many things to do . I think this is more productive than doing nothing all day , so I usually spend my time doing things that motivates me and will help me in the future . How much time do you spend on tecnology ?

Teenagers usually see older generations as a mix of wise, confusing, and occasionally hilarious. Many teens appreciate the experience adults bring, especially when it comes to life advice or emotional support. But they also get frustrated when older folks seem out of touch with modern tech, slang,or the pressures of school and social media.Teens often feel misunderstood, like their struggles are minimized or compared to “how things used to be.”Still, most teenagers don’t actually dislike older generations, they just want to be heard without judgment. When adults show genuine curiosity, patience, and respect, teens tend to open up.In the end,the gap is more about communication styles than any real divide. With a little effort, both sides can understand each other more easily and grow.
