BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

'What's going on?'  >>>  Can you tell me what it means and other synonym questions?  Pay attention to the musical story I am going to tell you and decide which song do you like best?

Some songs have an incredible story behind. I'll present you this amazing musical story. Bruce Springsteen has just produced a song called Nightshift based on another one by the Commodores, which made reference to the great Marvin Gaye ("What's going on?"). Here's a version with the lyrics for you to sing along of Nightshift!!

By the way, what does the word 'nightshift' mean?

  1. Pelé is considered one of the best players in history. People who say he is the best in history are based on the fact that he is the only player in history to win three World Cups.
From my point of view, it´s not the best because he played football that was very different from today´s and the World Cup didn´t have as many phases as it does now. Until a few years ago he held one of the records that seemed impossible to break, being the player who has scored the most goals with the same club. Another record that could be broken in the next World Cup will be that of Brazil´s top scorer, which could be surpassed by Neymar.
I would have liked to see him play in today´s football.

  2. Bruce Springsteen´s song tells about Marvin Gaye. He was an American musician, producer, and singer known as "the prince of soul". But, he was murdered by his father in 1984.

The song called the period after the death "nightshift". Bruce sings about Marvin´s music and talent, and how expressed his thoughts and heart in his songs. Also, Bruce designate that Marvin could sing about everything from joy to pain, and how he could open up their minds.

The singer wants to do know that his music will endure forever. In my opinion, it´s a very beautiful song that has a very special history. I think that is important to understand songs to know what the singer wants to express to us.

  4. The climatic change is here, we have seen it this Autumn. This Autumn we haven't got chilly and the weather has been a little extreme. Today it's raining, but during two or three months haven't rained nothing, if this year was another year will rain almost one or two weeks. The climatic change is real and we can see now. There a question that it says if we can save us: Is it too late to reduce the contamination? I hope the politics makes lays harder.

  8. Pelé is a Brazilian football player who played as a striker. He is the best footballer of all time, in the opinion of many people. He played most of his career in the Brazilian Santos.

Pelé has been the only player to win 3 World Cups, at only 17 years old he won the World Cup in Sweden, 4 years later he won the World Cup in Chile and in 1970 (8 years later) he won the World Cup in Mexico. There are people who don’t consider him the best, but it can be said that he was one of the best, because of his goals, because of his talent, because of his achievements. His statistics are 757 goals in 831 official matches, he would be in fifth place among the Mexican scorers in the history of 2022.

Pelé has recently died at the age of 82 after a long illness.
