BEING A TEACHER....

BEING A TEACHER IS A DIFFICULT TASK NOWADAYS, SO I DECIDED TO FOLLOW THIS PIECE OF ADVICE BY BRUCE LEE:

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

Hats off!!

Hats off!! It is not Charles III, it is our great Carlos Álcaraz making history and winning again, defeating the incredible lucky loser Jan-Lennard Struff!!

Let's learn a phrase of how to impress people in The English We Speak: Hats off  (BBC Learning English)

Carlos Alcaraz vs Jan-Lennard Struff For The Title 🏆 | Madrid 2023 Final Highlights  and 20 years ago it was his coach Juan Carlos Ferrero, who was the winner!!

Our students at work...

Andrea Romera  (1º ESO B) and her comic about Around the World in 80 Days.

José Salvador Puentedura Haro  (1º ESO B) and his comic about Around the World in 80 Days.

Some more activities for my students:

1º ESO - What do these animals look like? What are they like? You can visit any of these posts and write a comment using the vocabulary and structures seen in Unit 6:

A speck in your horizon, but...

A dino bird, an example of a devoted dad

or any other posts related to animals.

1º ESO - Now you can compare any animal or a pet you have at home with the animal described (the roadrunner or the cassowary) using comparatives and superlatives. You can also use the comparison of equality and inferiority.

  1. Carlos Alcaraz is an exceptional tennis talent. Despite his young age, he shows amazing ability on the court. His ability to hit the ball with precision and power is impressive. One of his strongest points is his speed and accuracy. His strong mentality and passion for the sport are evident in every match. Without a doubt, Carlos Alcaraz is an exciting prospect in the world of tennis.
